We currently have six office locations:
Ozark, AL, Dothan, AL, Pike Road, AL, Bessemer, AL, Robertsdale, AL and Panama City, FL.
This person and the accounting team provide support for all locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily:
Gathering of previous day's sales information from all locations to prepare deposit and verify accuracy of all reports.
Post all deposits into Quickbooks and compare against online banking information.
Verify that all sales were closed correctly and that proper sales tax was collected, where necessary.
Update required spreadsheets Payoff floorplan inventory as sold Sort through mail to determine if bills are inventory or non-inventory related Post non-inventory bills into Quickbooks Deliver inventory bills to the Purchaser Scan and post credit card receipts into Quickbooks Weekly:
Assist with payroll to include:
Print and audit timesheets in preparation of payroll entry Gather necessary payroll information Process weekly payroll, to include payroll tax deposit Monthly:
Credit card reconciliation General responsibilities include:
Confidentiality - Maintain confidentiality of all information encountered during the course of business Answering phones as necessary Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements The ideal individual we are seeking has a working knowledge of GAAP accounting.
They should possess the following character traits:
At least three years of bookkeeping experience Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of office practices and clerical / accounting procedures Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel Accounting degree or equivalent experience Must have excellent problem-solving skills Pay:
$18.
00 to $21.
00 / hour based upon experience
